Edmonton Eparchy goes to World Youth Day!

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is hosting the next World Youth Day event in July of 2013. This event happens every 2-3 years and brings together young Christians (ages 18-35) in a celebration of their shared faith. An expected 4 million pilgrims will come together from all over the world to see and hear Pope Benedict XVI, to attend various spiritual events, and to learn more about themselves.

Alberta young adults interested in coming to this event are encouraged to contact Millie at the Eparchy Chancery [(780) 446-1061] or by emailing youth@edmontoneparchy.com. Registration forms for the pilgrimage are now available and are due, along with a $100 non-refundable deposit, before December 15, 2012.

WYD – Our Itinerary
